From one-on-one golf coaching to group clinics, you will find that The Woodlands Country Club offers a wide range of game improvement resources for golfers of all skill levels. While The Refinery is our flagship golf training center, golf lesson programming from our award-winning instructors is available at all TWCC facilities. Within the instructional programming, you will find a year-long Junior Master’s developmental program, Keep Her Playing programs designed specifically for women and girls in golf, BioSwing Coaching to help you Own Your Swing, 9 Basic Swing Flaws to transform your bad habits into dependable skills, Family Centric programming, and much more!
Meet the coaches
Throughout the year, we hold “Meet the Coaches” events at The Refinery. Our coaching staff includes a team of world-class and award-winning instructors. Heading up our team is our Director of Instruction, E.A. Tischler, a Golf Magazine Top 100 Instructor, past Golf Digest Top 50 Instructor, and PGA Tour Coach. The team also includes James Larkin, STPGA award-winning instructor, Craig Kanada, Lifetime Korn Ferry Tour Member, Susie Redman/Kirk, LPGA Tour Lifetime Member and Legends Tour Member, and Allen Riley, Certified Golf Psych Instructor. Rounding out the team are Johnny Montes and Joyce Trus, who both have extensive experience playing and coaching, and are Head Coaches for the Junior Masters Developmental Programs.

The Refinery is home to our state-of-the-art golf club fitting studio, outfitted with the latest equipment from Srixon/Cleveland/XXIO, Callaway, Titleist, TaylorMade, and Ping. With thousands of club head and shaft combinations, our master fitters are guaranteed to find the correct combination that best suits your game.
We offer a full menu of golf club fittings, including the driver, fairway woods, hybrids, irons, wedges, and putter. You can arrange a fitting for the whole bag, a few clubs at a time, or even just that one magic club you need in your bag. Our fitters work closely with our golf swing coaches to ensure that your new set of custom clubs will match your ideal swing for the best results possible.
We understand that when you are interested in purchasing new clubs and getting the proper fit, the experience is about the club fitting, not a lesson. Lessons are left to our world-class team of coaches. However, if you are taking lessons with one of our coaches, it is a good idea to have him or her collaborate with the fitter to make sure you are getting exactly what you need.
